This site (mayanksanghvi.com) is a static portfolio and essay publication. It runs on pure static HTML (exported from Next.js) on Hostinger shared hosting. There is no backend runtime, login system, comment system, or user account database.
1. What we collect
- Contact-form email only when you send it. The B2B inquiry form builds a
mailto:link and opens your own email client. We never store submissions in a database on this site. Any outreach email is retained for the duration of the conversation (typically 1–30 days). - Standard web server logs. Hostinger writes typical access logs (IP, user-agent, referrer, timestamp). These are auto-cycled every 7–14 days and used only for abuse / bot detection.
- Optional Google Analytics 4 (only if
NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_IDis configured; it is off by default). GA4 collects anonymised pageviews. - Optional Google AdSense (only if
NEXT_PUBLIC_ADSENSE_PUB_IDis configured; AdSense uses first-party cookies to serve personalized ads unless you opt out via your Google account). - Optional Google Ad Manager (GAM) (only if
NEXT_PUBLIC_GAM_NETWORK_CODEis configured; GAM delivers direct-sold and programmatic ad placements using the same privacy defaults as AdSense — non-personalized ads enabled by default until a TCF-compliant Consent Management Platform is connected for EU/EEA traffic).
2. What we never do
- We don't run a mailing list. There is no newsletter subscribe button.
- We don't sell, share, or rent contact data to anyone.
- We don't store any authentication tokens or cookies for this site itself.
3. Third-party cookies
Embedded YouTube players, Vimeo players, and AdSense may set cookies from their respective domains. You can control and/or block them through your browser settings.
4. Your rights
You can request deletion of any correspondence, ask what (if anything) we have on file about you, or request correction, by emailing hello@mayanksanghvi.com. We respond within 14 calendar days.
5. Changes
Substantive changes will be reflected by bumping the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
